CIVIL WEDDING

~ The civil ceremony is a fully legal marriage. The law allows to perform it outside, therefore our intimate beach is the perfect venue to celebrate.

~ All the paperwork should be done in advance and the original documents must be presented to the Judge on the wedding day. They will remain in the Dominican registry office.
~ The ceremony will be performed by the Judge.
~ The civil rite normally lasts about 15-20 mins, and by law must include the Dominican civil codes (wedding articles).
~ As the civil ceremony and sworn statement are read in Spanish, our master of ceremony will translate for you the Judge speech.
~ Two witnesses are required for a civil ceremony. For couples wishing to have an elopement wedding - we'll provide the witnesses for you. Usually our master of ceremony and our photographer kindly accept to be the witnesses for our couples.

All that civil wedding preparation process seems to be quite complicated and stressful, that's why we are in the game. Our help consists in making all the necessary steps on your behalf for you can legally exchange your rings with no previous tension.

All will be done by our side:

~ Consultation on all paperwork you need for the civil ceremony
~ Booking of the chosen date in the Registry Office
~ Confirmation of the paperwork with the Judge
~ Attendance of the Judge on the ceremony
~ Payment of the Legal Taxes
~ VIP service for the legalization of documents at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DR (you’ll get your wedding certificate in 5-7 working days instead of 6-10 weeks with the regular service)
~ DHL sending in case if you won’t have enough time to get your certificate in DR
~ Provision of two witnesses if necessary
~ English/Spanish-speaking Master of Ceremony

Once the civil procedure is over and the Judge leaves the beach, our master of ceremony will perform the symbolic part of the wedding. It includes two wonderful rituals: Sand ceremony and Love lockers exchange ceremony. Feel free to add any rites that may have a particular importance for your young family. And then the party starts! Popping the champagne, cutting the cake, first dance - all that little details that you'll remember forever!
